Biography
Chie Takenaka began to play the piano at age of 4. She studied piano with Prof. Emiko Nakayama, Prof. Michiko Ohno until her high school days. From 2006, she had studied at Musashino Academia Musicae(Tokyo) with Prof. Elena Ashkenazy and graduated at the top of Master’s degree, with “Kreuzer Prize”.
She got various prizes so far :Grand Prix in Tochigi prefecture piano competition(2001), the third prize in the 8th concert Marronier 21(2003), the first prize in Rose piano competition(2008), the special prize at 2nd Yokohama International piano competition(2008), the first prize in Petrov piano competition(2010), the 3rd prize of “Premio Chopin” section in the 22nd international piano competition “Roma 2012”(2012), Steinway Prize Classic 2016 in Stuttgart (2016).
As a solist, she played with Musashino Academia Musicae Orchestra, Nova Amadeus Chember Orchstra, Württemberg Philharmonic Orchestra and Rheinland-Pfalz State Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2014 she had studied at Konzertexamen(Soloist Diploma) in University of Music and Arts Stuttgart and worked with Prof. Péter Nagy. In 2016 She had graduated there with “Ausgezeichnet”(Excellent). From September 2016 until May 2017 she taught at the Musik school in Vaihingen(Stuttgart). From Autumn 2017, she works as a Ballet pianist of Palucca University of dance in Dresden.
